I got a Flip Video for Christmas and I've been taking videos everywhere. The picture quality may not be too great, but the ease of use and portability make it more likely that I'll use it to capture moments that might otherwise have slipped by.
For example, last night Jeff and I attended the Villa Madonna Academy basketball game against Lloyd Memorial High School. We weren't there to see the game so much as to cheer on the cheerleaders. :)
Yes, Kate is following in my footsteps and cheering. Isn't she adorable? (she's the one in the middle front)
